This so called "doctor" appears to have real problems with diagnosing correctly. In less than a years time he has diagnosed two paients, both now deceased, as having relatively minor problems, when in fact both had cancer. In my mother's case he took his time about making her an appointment ( at least a month ), and then on initial appointment said it was only a swollen gland and he thought he'd seen her before about it. He hadn't. They set another appointment at least a month or more away, but within a couple weeks my mother said the place was getting larger. I called to inform his office and his reply was " Don't worry, it doesn't get that large that fast, and it was only a swollen gland." He did not speed up an appointment as it was about a month before he finally saw her, and in spite of obviously visible rapid growing lump still did not do a biopsy. We took her to another doctor who did a biopsy and it came back as her having cancer. She got one chemo, became anemic, and had to have a transfusion. She got to wher she could no longer chew food or even swallow water, and had to have a feeding tube to her stomach. She passed away shortly thereafter, and when kossy (from kosovo?) learned of this he said he does the best he can but sometimes things happen or something to that extent, and that maybe if she would have had faster treatment. Well, yes, if he had of bothered to do do a biopsy at the start, then it could have been taken off surgically. But by the time he got finished with his nonchalant, lacadasial approach to his profession the lump had gotten too large to take off surgically anymore. Then a bout a couple month's ago I ran into a friend of my mothers and told her about all this andthat now she knew a good doctor to stay away from. She said she certainly did, that her daughter in law had a lump come up under her chin, or in the throat area, went to the same doctor, was misdiagnosed by him also, and passed away the month before. My suggestion to him, if his calender still reflects so many out of town trips is take down his degrees, and all the books about tumors and cancer lining his shelfs and take a real long extended vacation if he can't do any better than this. He doesn't carry malpratice insurance, but I have learned of the proper goverment authorities to present this to,and hopefully something will be done. Question is, how many more patients will he dupe into trusting in him in the meantime and how many more will suffer the same fate?
